Places We Have Been

Beautiful Copenhagen, Oslo and Scenic Norway - September 2019

A beautiful travel experience for our 26 travelers. We spent 2 days in Copenhagen and traveled to Odense to explore the hometown of Hans Christian Anderson. We visited Oslo for 2 nights, traveled by deluxe coach to Drobak where some of the inhabitants still claim to be descendants of Santa Claus before enjoying 2 sunny days in Bergen, a most delightful town nestled in a harbor.

We visited the Grieg Homestead, home of the world famous composer and pianist Edvard Grieg where we were honored with a 30 minute concert in his own concert hall. We visited the impressive Viking Ships Museum where 1000 year old Viking Ships made history come alive.

We also toured the now famous Kon-Tiki Museum and saw the actual balsa raft (15’x30’) Thor Heyendahl used to cross the Pacific Ocean which resulted in a movie and book. We traveled north to visit Stalheim with its breathtaking views of the mountains, traveled on the famous Flaam Railway on our way to Leikander.

We then traveled further north to Geiranger and rode to the base of the outstanding Briksdal Glacier. The trip included a cruise in the Geiranger Fjord, traveling through the Eagles Road to Alesund where we departed for U.S.

What People Are Saying About Us

"I have told several people already (about the trip). Would only travel with you as a tour. Very pleased about how you cared for each one of us." (Jean Brignone-Tuscany Trip)

"Your flexibility and response to the group at large was very impressive!" (Robin Speidel-Tuscany trip)

"Fun, fun, fun! Great action. Well organized. Good ‘group control”. Sense of humor helped. Excellent trip with very little wait time. Great selection of tour sites and activities (and wine tasting)." (Mary Jo Keating-Tuscany Trip)

"Wayne & Valerie were always responsive. We appreciated their daily visits to ‘check-up’ and address concerns. They did not ‘hover’ and were the perfect hosts. Loved their sense of humor. Both were the best ever. I’d love to adopt M.J. (our guide)." (Gloria Peterson-Alaska trip)
