Welcome to Someday Travel

As we move forward through 2022, we are actively planning trips with the hope we will be able to resume our love of helping people make their travel dreams come true. Our collective safety remains our highest priority, and we will only move forward with future trips when it is safe to do so. Upcoming Trips

CANADIAN ROCKIES 9-DAY TRIP - June 14 - 22, 2022

Final details and trip itinerary are being formulated and will be posted here soon!

Join us on a great getaway trip to the beautiful and breathtaking Canadian Rockies. We fly from O’Hare to Seattle on June 14 and return to O’Hare from Kalispell. Montana on June 22, 2022. Upon arrival in Seattle we check into our hotel and enjoy a special welcome group dinner.

The entire trip into Canada will be on scenic luxury coach busses.

June 15-16 – In our 2-day stay we will enjoy the splendor of Vancouver and Stanley Park, an urban rainforest that juts into the sea. We will also visit the waterfront area and Chinatown, one of North America's largest. Here we will visit quaint shops that display jade, ivory, silk, bamboo, brocade and many food items. We stop at the Harbor Center Observation Deck before returning to our hotel to conclude day 1.

On day 2 we ferry to Victoria Island to explore the city of Victoria, the "City of Gardens" in British Columbia. In the afternoon we will visit the fantastic Butchart Gardens before returning to our hotel. And that is only days 1 and 2.

The entire and exciting itinerary will be up here soon, but suffice to say you will also enjoy such sites and places as the Capilano Suspension Bridge, a photo stop at the Shannon Falls and the ski village of Whistler. We will also visit 3 National Parks on the trip, view Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, travel along the icefields Parkway, where you will marvel at the towering snow-capped peaks, azure lakes, thundering waterfalls and hanging glaciers.

You will be able to board a Snow Coach Ice Explorer for a ride on the enormous Athabasca Glacier on our way to Lake Louise, partake in the Sulphur Mountain Gondola lift to the top for some fantastic views and much, much more! We’ve only reached day 7 of our exciting tour!

Consider signing up for this trip as we suspect it will fill up fairly quickly since it is in North America and doesn't require flying over an ocean.

Feel free to contact us for more information - no obligation of course.

SICILY AND THE ISLAND OF MALTA - September 26 - October 7, 2022

Enjoy this unforgettable 12-day adventure to the islands of Sicily and Malta. Visit Ancient Segesta and Mountaintop Erice along with Malta, Blue Grotto and Mdina Medieval Walled City - definitely a must see!

Did you know that the island of Sicily is the largest and one of the most densely populated islands in the Mediterranean Sea? The lsland is separated from the mainland of Italy by the Strait of Messina. It is 2 miles wide in the north and 10 miles wide in the south with the exquisite city of Palermo as its capital.

Malta is a history-rich small archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea and one of the smallest countries in Europe. Malta also consists of three islands - Malta, Gozo and Comino. We'll visit all three!

A year ago, my husband became one of Wisconsin's first COVID-19 patients.
This was our experience.

As we look back on the past year, and how we have all been affected in different ways, we would like to share our experiences with you. Valerie was approached by the FDL Reporter to share her and Wayne's story about being one of the first COVID-19 patients in the state of Wisconsin.

Read the article below and share in their experiences of grief, loss, and hope amongst a community of caring and compassionate people.
